  I started going here 4 years ago when we first moved to Sacramento and we really enjoyed having them as our vet. However, their service has declined. Recently, getting a prescription has been difficult. A couple months ago, I called and left a message to get a written prescription. Whoever listened to the voicemail didn't actually listen and thought I asked for the prescription to get filled. I had to call 4 times to get it straightened out and to finally get an update on my request. Every time I called, it was like I had to start all over. It seems like their staff don't communicate. Recently, I orders some meds online and one person told me they never received the faxed prescription request and when I called an hour later someone else told me the request was approved, signed by the vet and sent back.
  
  Also, it seems like Dr. Rana herself doesn't listen. When I asked her for a quote for a tooth extraction, she came back with a quote over $1,000 for a whole teeth cleaning! We have a 13 year old dog and she has health problems. At this point, we just want to keep her comfortable and don't want to move forward with diagnosis because at this point, there is no point. She has arthritis, three lumps and a bad liver. Every time we get her blood work done, Dr. Rana wants to immediately schedule us for an ultrasound to diagnose her liver problems when we have repeatedly told her we are not moving forward with diagnosis.
  
  Time to look for another vet.
