  I bought a yard of "planting mix" last summer that smelled like garbage and looked bad too! The smell has mostly gone away by now, but it still looks bad and won't even grow weeds! This year I'm raising the garden area up behind a retaining wall so I'll be burying this "soil" underneath some good planting mix from another supplier.
