  Nice place to stay. You have the option to bunk in a room with others, or have a private room to yourself. Lights are out @ 11:00p.m. If you need to take care of business, or talk on your phone after 11p.m. you can use the social quarters and dining area. You can wash your clothes for a dollar a load and dry them for a dollar after 2p.m. The majority of the rooms are upstairs and there is NO stair lift nor is there an elevator. But, there are rooms below with a ramp that lead to the rooms. Plus there is a lift to the front desk and dining area.

  I've stayed in a lot of hostels, and what impressed me about HI Sacramento was the cleanliness, the ease of use, and the convenient location. One unique feature here is how much space there is between bunks. I could more than sit up on my bottom bunk without hitting my head on anything. This is a hostel where linnens are included, but locks aren't, so bring one, or you can buy one for $5. I didn't lock anything up, and my stuff was just fine.
